Standard rebates and loans:

• $800 rebate per home, or
• Up to a $6000 zero-percent interest loan for single-head (zone) systems plus $2000 for each additional head (maximum 5 total heads/zones). 
• AffordableAC will install your new system for the above available loan amounts resulting in no out-of-pocket installation costs! If you choose to pay in cash instead of financing the $800 rebate will reduce your final price accordingly. For example, the total cost for a financed single-zone system is $6,000 minus the $6,000 loan equals $0 out-of-pocket. This system will have a $100 monthly payment.  A two-zone system is $8,000 minus the $8,000 loan equals $0 out-of-pocket. This system will have a $134 monthly payment. If paying in cash for a single-head system your out-of-pocket cost will be $6,000 minus the $800 rebate equals $5,200 in total installation cost.
• Loans and rebates cannot be combined
• Loan terms: Under $5K is 48 month term and $5K and over is 60 month term.
• EWEB requires ALL homeowners be loan applicants.  Missing homeowner applications will delay your loan application process. 

Income-based rebates and loans:

• Home MUST currently be electrically heated
• Owner-occupied rebate $4,500
• Rental rebate $1,000
• Up to a $6000 zero-percent interest loan for single-head systems plus $2000 for each additional head (maximum 5 total heads).
• Loans and rebates may be combined for income-qualified applicants.
• AffordableAC will install your new system for the prices as described above BUT your loan amount (or cash price) will be reduced by the $4,500 rebate accordingly.  For example, a financed single-head system is $6,000 minus the $4,500 rebate equals a loan amount of $1,500 (and a payment of just $31.25 per month) or if paying in cash just $1,500 total installation cost!
• Loan is available in addition to rebate for costs above rebate amount.
• Loan terms: Under $5K is 48 month term and $5K and over is 60 month term.

 Income-qualifying customers may be eligible for expanded rebates or loans to upgrade heating systems. Please note that income-based efficiency rebates and loans are for homes with existing electric heating.  

Qualifications:

• Qualification is based on your household income and the size of your household. View the income guidelines below to see if you qualify for these programs. Total household income includes gross income for all adults over the age of 18, including roommates. 
• Documented qualifying income level for the previous month is required. 
• For owner-occupied homes, only the qualifying account holder's primary residence may qualify. For rentals, the tenant must be income qualified and be the current EWEB account holder. 
• Maximum aggregated income-based rebates are $10,000 per customer (recipient) and $10,000 per premises (residence) over a 10-year period. Each individual product may have a limit as well. 
• Applications may be denied for closed accounts, abusive behavior toward EWEB, tampering with any EWEB property, or any evidence of fraud.

• All EWEB electric customers may be eligible. We will help you apply and receive EWEB pre-approval before scheduling installation.
• The new Ductless Heat Pump must serve the primary living area (living room, bedrooms, etc.) of the home. If the pre-existing heating system is non-electric, the new Ductless Heat Pump also must be the primary heating system serving more than 50 percent of the home's heated living area. 
• The participant's signature on the residential application is required.  The participant must be the EWEB account holder (or authorized on the account), owner or owner's representative. 
• Loan approval is based on your EWEB credit history and credit report. Approved loan amounts may vary based on approved credit. Loan applicant(s) must be the homeowner(s). 
• Single- or multi-head systems may be installed in single-family homes, manufactured homes, side-by-side condos/townhomes, or apartments.  Multifamily apartment units must have electric zonal resistance heat to qualify. If you are unsure whether your home qualifies, please call us.
• For another dwelling on the same tax lot to qualify for an additional rebate or loan, the unit must have its own kitchen, bathroom(s) and bedroom(s), have separate electric service, and be occupied by a customer as a primary residence. Each customer may only have one primary residence. 
• Only one (1) ductless heat pump rebate or loan per home, unless an existing heat pump system is removed and replaced with a qualifying system (at least 11 HSPF or 9.5 HSPF2). 
• If there is a pre-existing heat pump in the home, it must be removed and replaced with a qualifying system (at least 11 HSPF or 9.5 HSPF2) in order to receive a rebate or loan. Please call for details if your are wanting to replace an older existing heat pump system.
